The Harper Court Arts Council was established in 1990
as a charitable organization to promote artistic activity in the Hyde
Park community. In 2008, with assets from the sale of the Harper Court
shopping center, the Council revised its overall grant making purpose
to address the dual purposes of supporting both economic development and
the arts in Hyde Park and Kenwood.
Council Announces New Grant Program
The Harper Court Arts Council is pleased to announce its inaugural request for proposals. Grant applications will be accepted through December 15, 2008 for consideration in the current round of grants to be awarded. In order to be considered, proposals must be postmarked or received at the Council’s office not later than 5:00 PM on or before Monday, December 15, 2008. Organizations will be notified of the status of their request to the Council by the end of December.
